UHF RFID Inventory & Asset Tracking

UHF RFID Tracking System for Warehouses and Industry

Automate stock counting and material tracking without line-of-sight scanning. Nex-G Automation's UHF RFID system reads multiple tags in bulk and sends the data to your server over Ethernet or Wi-Fi using HTTP or HTTPS.

From Manual Counting to Automated Stock Tracking

Barcode scanning needs a person to line up every item. In a busy warehouse or factory, that means slow stock counts, missed items and records that are out of date soon after they are written.

A UHF RFID tracking system removes most of this effort. Each item, carton, pallet or asset carries an RFID tag. A reader identifies many tags at once without line-of-sight, so goods can be counted inside cartons and on shelves as they move through a gate, dock or storage area.

Nex-G Automation's system posts the captured tag data to your backend over native HTTP or HTTPS, in JSON, CSV or raw hex formats. Your own software, ERP or a custom dashboard receives the data and updates the stock record, supporting RFID centralized monitoring across sites.

The same approach supports automated stock counting, RFID material tracking, industrial inventory tracking and RFID asset tracking in warehouses, factories, retail backrooms, healthcare and similar environments.

What Is a UHF RFID Tracking System?

It is a setup of UHF RFID tags, a reader and software that identifies tagged items automatically by radio, without scanning each one by line of sight, and records their movement or presence in a central system.

Working Principle

How UHF RFID Reader Integration Works

Tags, reader and backend work together as one flow.

Tag Items

UHF RFID tags are attached to goods, cartons, pallets, tools or assets.

Read in Bulk

The reader identifies many tags at once using anti-collision, without line of sight.

Send Data

Tag data is posted over Ethernet or Wi-Fi using HTTP or HTTPS.

Update Records

Your software updates stock, location or movement records automatically.

Applications

Where RFID Inventory Tracking Is Used

Suitable wherever many items must be counted, located or logged quickly.

Warehouse RFID Management

Inbound checks, put-away and stock audits with fewer manual scans.

Automated Stock Counting

Count tagged stock on shelves and in cartons far faster than item-by-item scanning.

RFID Material Tracking

Follow raw material, work-in-progress and finished goods through the plant.

Factory Asset and Tool Tracking

Know where high-value tools and equipment are, and who has them.

Entry and Exit Tracking

Log tagged goods, assets or ID cards passing through gates and doors. Project-specific, so share your layout.

Retail, Library and Healthcare

Stock audits, cataloguing and consumables checking with RFID tags.

System Advantages

Why Use UHF RFID for Inventory and Material Tracking?

Benefits that matter on the warehouse and factory floor.

✓

Bulk, Non-Line-of-Sight Reading

Read many tags at once, including inside cartons and on dense shelving.

✓

Real-Time Data Posting

Native HTTP and HTTPS push data to your backend as tags are read.

✓

Fewer Manual Errors

Reduce missed or double-counted items compared with manual cycle checks.

✓

ERP and Software Friendly

Output in JSON, CSV or raw hex for your own application or ERP.

✓

Fixed or Handheld Options

Choose a fixed architectural node or a rugged handheld unit.

✓

Audit Trail

Time-based logs support asset tracking compliance and stock audits.

System Planning

Planning an RFID Tracking Project

What Affects Performance

Read range and accuracy depend on the tag type, how the tag is placed on the item, what the item is made of (metal and liquids affect radio signals) and the surrounding environment. A short on-site trial is the best way to confirm results.

Share your item types, volumes, read points (dock door, gate, shelf) and the software that will receive the data.

Entry/Exit and People Counting

RFID can log tagged goods, assets or ID cards passing a gate. People counting with RFID works only if people carry tags or cards. Tell us your layout and requirement and we will confirm what is feasible for your site.

UHF RFID Tracking System – FAQs

A system of UHF RFID tags, a reader and software that identifies tagged items automatically by radio, without line-of-sight scanning, and records their movement or presence.

The reader identifies many tags at once, so tagged stock can be counted in bulk, including inside cartons, much faster than scanning item by item.
